About The Event
Laura's House domestic violence emergency shelter and supportive services provides a comprehensive range of services that address the issue of domestic violence and promote community health and wellness, including an Emergency Shelter, a Counseling and Resource Center, Legal Advocacy, Children's Therapeutic Programs.
They are offering an 8 hour refreshed to their 40 hour Domestic Violence Advocacy Training. Here I will be speaking about the not so obvious signs of domectic violence. There are common things that victims/survivors will say or do when they are experiencing DV that they may not even be aware of. I'm speaking to help providers/advocates learn additional ways domestic violence impacts people to help stregthen the support of the DV community.
